I work mostly in advertising — always have. From day zero as a college student at West Virginia University selling advertising for The Daily Athenaeum back in 2000 to now, it's what I know how to do.  I've learned a few things along the way. Either I'm good at it, or I have a lot to learn! (Or, both.)

Or, an overthinker! Solid strategy is the secret to most things. My life strategy started when I developed a plan to get out of Coal City, WV. Still, I consider my small roots a superpower, not a setback. Did I grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth? Nope, it was plastic. My strategy for success is simple: put in the work, always keep learning and improving, be kind, and share what you know freely.
